I highly recommend Bernier Building & Remodeling and Jason Bernier, the general contractor. Jason was hired to complete a very complicated project in southern Fairfield County. Throughout the project, he was a thoughtful communicator, a very hard worker, and above all, a creative problem-solver. Jason was brought in to complete the renovation of an 1812 home to basically brand new construction -minus the foundation and one original staircase. The approximately 3,000 foot renovations included multiple bathrooms, a kitchen, 4 decks/porches as well as a detached barn.

Excellent from start to finish. Jason was truly professional and friendly from looking at the job thru quotation, scheduling and construction. He is an excellent craftsman, and was always willing to listen to my ideas. I had an unusual project of replacing a dock in a short time frame while the lake was drawn down, and I had certain ideas as to how I wanted to build the replacement. Jason was very thoughtful about listening to me, discussing options, and reviewing my specifications. He worked quickly and efficiently and I am sure I will consider him for my next project.
